Can a drop-in sink be undermounted?
Need quick help! I am installing new granite tile on my wet bar. I currently have an ugly drop-in stainless steel sink with the faucet mounted on the sink. I like the cleaner, more modern look of undermounting. A plumbing supply person told me the old sink can be undermounted since the faucet holes are already drilled and that this will give the same look as an undermounted sink. My tile installer didn't suggest this but I also didn't ask him. The plumbing supply guy said my tile guy doesn't know his stuff if he doesn't know this can be done.
If this is easily done, I can save myself about $200 on a new undermount wet bar sink. Can it be done? Any issues to be aware of?
