Shower Water Filter: For A Cleaner Clean
Did you know that two of the largest organs in your body is your skin and your lungs? If you were to stretch out your skin or the inside of your lungs, it would cover a vast area (and you'd be extremely uncomfortable). Your entire household should be fitted out with filtration systems to ensure that chlorine and other harsh chemicals (either already present in the water table or added later by your municipality) do not pass through any taps and into your cooking or drinking water. Step 3. Invest in a pitcher that filters water, as well.

When I turn on the shower half of the water still comes out of the main faucet,?
Thus giving our legs a bath while we try to take a shower. There are three knobs, the one in the middle you turn to turn on the shower, but the faucet itself has one of those things you pull up on which has never worked except to make the water come out the faucet harder. So I am wondering if it is the on/off knob that you turn or the faucet itself causing the problem? I took the whole cover off of the knob, but can't see anything obviously wrong. I am sorry to say I don't know what brand it is either there are no markings to be found.
and if it is the faucet itself, how the heck do I get it off???
Take the cover off the knob.........unscrew the the knob and remove it......Inside of the hole that you see now is a spring and a washer......You just need to replace the washer and can find it with a new spring at any plumbing store for about $1.50.
