Estimate for installing a new bathroom faucet and shower valve?
I would like to replace the faucet in my bathroom sink. Also, would like to replace the shower spout and water regulator/valve. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
I already purchased the parts, so I am just looking at the labor cost associated with installing it
I got a quote of $926 from oe plumber. Now, that seems really really excessive to me.
How long does this job normally take ? I am guessing 4 hours or maybe 5. Also any ideas on what the cost of labor would look like ?

Plumbers usually make $120/hour for labor, so he's is saying it takes about 8 hours. That work will surely not take 8 hours, i by myself could have it done in 4 hours max.
I would highly recommend you call a few places (4-5) an get estimates from all of them, when your talking to them make them think you know what your talking about so they dont try and screw you out of money.
