My bathroom faucet is leaking - plumber says I need to replace the entire faucet???
The bathroom faucet is leaking (badly now), and he took a look at it and says I will need to replace the entire faucet. to the point where the pipes reach the shut off switches (at the bottom of the sink).
I have called the faucet manufacturer for the warranty and they are sending me new parts saying that I do not need to replace the entire faucet.
Anyone have any suggestions? Please help!
either or is ok....plumber like to replace the whole faucet because they make more money ( labor and parts )....sometimes they do not carry parts to repair it because there are so many different kinds of faucets, but he may carry a new faucet with him....u can buy a new faucet for 15 or 20 dollars....the plumbers faucet is going to cost a lot more.....but if they are sending parts then the faucet will work as good as new, try and do the work yourself
