When cleaning your home, one of the most challenging tasks is getting the bathroom spick and span. But since it's something that must get done, the key is to do it as quickly and efficiently as possible. So roll up your sleeves and follow these steps to get your bathroom spic and span:
1. Get organised before you start
This will speed up the process considerably. If you've got a job to do, then "there's nothing to it, but to do it." Here are some of the materials that you'll certainly need:
•broom
•brush (with stiff-bristles)
•floor cleaners
•glass cleaner
•gloves
•mop
•rags
•toilet brush
•toilet cleaner
•trashcan
•washcloths
2. Get rid of the "clutter"
First, remove everything that's not attached to the bathroom. The less clutter there is in the, the easier it will be to clean. You should also remove the shower curtain, towels, and rugs, so you can wash them later. Obviously, you won't need to remove the cabinets, basin, toilet, and bathtub. But move everything else that's not affixed to the bathroom-to another area. This will help you to get down and dirty when cleaning.
3. Clean the walls and cabinets
It's advisable to use either disinfectant wipes, or a cloth that you've saturated with household disinfectant cleaner. After washing these areas, use a clean dry cloth to wipe them dry.
4. Clean the mirrors, counter tops, and faucets
You'll need to use a rag, glass cleaner, and disinfectant wipes. The faucets may take some extra work, so use a rag and some elbow grease to give them a solid scrubbing.
5. Clean the toilet
Pour a toilet cleaner with bleach into the commode's basin, and then let it sit for a couple of minutes. While you're waiting, use a spray bottle antibacterial cleaner to clean the tank. You'll also need to clean the seat and the toilet's rim. Then use a toilet brush to clean the interior of the basin, where you inserted the toilet cleaner. Finally, flush the toilet.
6. Clean the bathtub
If there's a lot of grime on the bathtub, then first use a heavy-duty spray bottle cleanser and let it sit for a few minutes on the bathtub. This allows it to chemically break up all the dirt and grime. Next, use your brush and some elbow grease to scrub the bathtub until it's sparkling clean. After rinsing, unclog the drain and use liquid drain cleaner if necessary.
7. Sweep and mop the floor
Before sweeping, pick up any large pieces of trash sitting on the floor. Then sweep the floor thoroughly, around every nook and cranny. Next, use a mop and warm soapy water to mop the floor. Go over the floor again, using a wet mop and then a dry mop. Finally, replace the shower curtain, towels, and rugs.
While cleaning a bathroom will never the most fun thing to do in the world, following these easy steps can make the process easier. And after all-you'll be getting a good workout in the process!

I replaced my bathtub/shower faucets and now the shower pressure is lower than it was. What's the easiest fix?
I spent most of my day off replacing the three faucet attachments in my bathroom to fix a leak. The leak is fixed, but one faucet isn't seated the same as the others (no idea why but it works) and now my shower pressure is about 50% of what it was. I tightened the shower diverter as hard as I could without ripping out the 30-year-old fixtures. Is there an easy fix to this?
A lot of new shower fixtures have water restrictors in the heads. Sometimes, they can be removed. Take the shower head off from the supply pipe, and look into the head from the threaded end. If you see a piece of plastic with a few holes in it, that will be the restrictor. If you can take that out, your problem will be solved. That is, if it was all assembled correctly. Good Luck.
