As a person ages so do their needs. These changes include the use of their bathroom facilities.
To assist a senior citizen in maintaining their independence and dignity for as long as possible it may become necessary to remodel their bathroom to suit their particular needs. It may be helpful to speak to their doctor to inquire about the person's prognosis in order to plan for the future.

Another enhanced feature of the faucets is the valve that enables the tub to fill more quickly than a conventional tub. The drain also allows the tub to drain faster, which is important if a person has a medical condition that may need immediate attention. The walk-in tub also has air propelled water jets for a soothing water massage that is beneficial for arthritis, poor circulation and sore joints and muscles.

Is there a difference between an 8 inch bathroom faucet and an 8 inch widespread faucet?
My countertop sink requires an 8 inch widespread faucet. Will one that says 8 inch work?
Same thing...but when you go to purchase one...either make sure you get one that is the trim and rough in valve packaged together OR that you buy both at the same time if they're pacakaged seperately; otherwise, you'll be making an extra trip to the retailer of your choice.
