Why bacteria in cold water (New Vanity installed)?
I installed a new government a few months ago. I went almost from the First some horrible smell of dirty sponge bacteria cold water does not work for a long period before use. It's in the bathroom, so it's pretty boring I can not wash my hands quickly. I am also not sure how much is left of bacteria in the water after letting it run for a while, but gets rid of the smell in the water. A practical man of property (For rent) came in and found a lot of accumulation of calcium within "net" that covers the faucet (it is called, forgot). He rejected the accumulation of calcium and washed with water, but does not solve the problem. I think I can worse now ... Does anyone have any idea what causes it and how to take care of her? I just noticed that tap specific, since we do new vanity. Thank you!
This is just a guess, but you have a garden hose on the tap outside without a vacuum breaker connected? When the water returns to install the new piece of furniture that may have drainage tubes in cold water to remove water that was in your garden hose back into line. Not good!
